Why does Word/Powerpoint insist on putting different amounts of space between specific words in a paragraph? I don't need to know how to fix it, I just wanna know why this calligraphy technique ever made it into dev.

are you using justified alignment? Are you using tabs or spaces (how many spaces)?

i've never noticed this
