finally got around to watching this last night. Loved it. might even end up being better than buffy was. Will keep watching to see.

Wow...I'm krallum and I approved this message
11/1/2011 9:11:10 AM
I liked it. Unfortunately it comes on the same time as Fringe and Supernatural, so it will be a Hulu Monday show for me.
11/1/2011 9:33:01 AM
yea i'm never home on friday nights. kind of a horrible time slot but oh well
11/1/2011 2:04:18 PM
i have 2 eps saved on dvr but haven't gotten around to watching it. i will check in when i have completed the episodes!
11/6/2011 1:53:25 PM
I dunno, its darker than ouat, but how many wolf and bear people can you hunt? and I typically have no problem buying into fairly absurd premises but this one just bothers me. I'll give it a few more episodes.
11/6/2011 2:15:29 PM
First two weren't bad. Will continue to watch.
11/6/2011 2:35:16 PM
i'm watching the pilot now. pretty good so far, too bad it got stuck to fridays!
11/6/2011 2:35:47 PM
Eh, I'm still watching for now.Was mildly amused when mr wolf tore off the dude's arm and was like "oops."
11/6/2011 2:44:25 PM
They did some filming at Roloff Farms!
11/6/2011 2:51:06 PM
i actually enjoyed this quite a bit.
11/7/2011 8:35:20 AM
so for those of us who can't use google...whats the premise of the show?and what is the difference between this show and ever after... the commercials make them almost indistinguishable.
11/7/2011 9:16:00 AM
^Complete opposite ends of the spectrum. Grimm is more of a crime drama. Lead character is a cop who gets the power to see people for what they really are. Mainly the evil bad guys in fairy tales. They hide as people, but are bears, wolves, etc. Most are trying to live quiet lives, but some let their dark side get to them, and bad things happen. It is a pretty dark show, but his new "friend" brings some laughs. The arm thing was quite funny. But so far its been a crime drama with fantasy elements. Not bad, but not kid friendly.Once Upon a Time is a drama. Its the story of a town full of characters from fairy tales have been cursed and live in our world as average citizens in a little town. Difference is, some are good, some are bad, and they don't know that they are fairy tale characters. This show is much more kid friendly. This one boy knows the deal and brings his mother to town to try and unravel this curse and set things right. That is most of what we have gotten so far from Once Upon a Time.
11/7/2011 11:37:11 AM
I've only seen the pilot of Grimm. Was the guy in the car at the end the lead character's police chief from earlier?
11/7/2011 11:47:33 AM
^Yes.
11/7/2011 1:47:01 PM
I didn't notice that, interesting
11/7/2011 1:48:29 PM
this is a new favorite show!
11/7/2011 4:59:45 PM
from the previews it didn't look that great, but after watching the first 2 episodes on-demand, i'm going to keep watching (have it set to DVR now). not bad...
11/7/2011 5:08:20 PM
I liked it better when it was x-files
11/14/2011 9:26:49 PM
Just watched the pilot last night and I thought it was pretty good. Already like it more than "once upon a time."
11/15/2011 6:24:39 AM
I watched the first episode of this last night, and I'm not going to lie, it freaked me out. Looks good. And I honestly don't see this overlapping at all with Once Upon A Time. They're just so completely different, I won't have a problem watching both.
11/16/2011 9:24:41 AM
Just watched last episode and I did not care for the original bad guys in the story, but I did enjoy the development of the blonde demon.
11/16/2011 9:03:41 PM
Tonight's Grimm is very suspenseful.
11/18/2011 9:44:29 PM
NBC gives Grimm full season pick up. I can dig it.
11/22/2011 3:34:18 PM
I think I read that they might be moving it to a different night too...something about a special episode on a Thursday in December.Kinda hope this happens, 'cause it might throw some viewers back Fringe's way...they need it
11/22/2011 4:37:58 PM
11/22/2011 4:45:19 PM
it'd be nice if they'd develop some sort of ongoing story
12/8/2011 10:56:01 PM
you mean you don't enjoy Law & Order: Fairytale?this is one of those shows i keep on DVR for down nights and holiday breaks so i figure i'll rip through the 3-4 eps i've missed over christmas.
12/9/2011 10:00:40 AM
so who watched the last ep with the pigs and immediately thought of this
12/15/2011 6:03:01 PM
this show is getting dumber and dumber"she doesnt understand english, let me try a more direct approach"*speaks to her in english*I just can't bring myself to take it off my dvr list
12/19/2011 8:25:07 PM
it keeps me entertained without having to follow anything too closely. i've decided i'll continue to dvr[Edited on December 19, 2011 at 9:33 PM. Reason : ]
12/19/2011 9:33:43 PM
this may be my favorite *new* network show of the season with Person of Interest a close second.
1/17/2012 9:44:39 AM
That .600 triple barrel elephant gun was awesome. I have only found one triple barrel gun, a WWII Luftwaffe defensive weapon that had a rifle mated with a double barrel twelve gauge shotgun. Close, but not old enough or big enough round.
1/18/2012 10:02:53 PM
the last episode has been the only truly interesting one, I'll keep going for a few more
1/18/2012 10:20:39 PM
^Yea I liked that the "hero" was laid up in a hospital after getting curb stomped by that Ogre, so the other guys had to take care of business this time.
1/19/2012 6:03:31 AM
My wife watches this shit. Its like Buffy the vampire slayer fucked csi miami's campier days. Fucking awful.
1/20/2012 10:52:22 PM
buffy > grimm > csi:miami
1/20/2012 10:56:57 PM
I still like this show. There have been some "meh" episodes, but I feel like they've gotten pretty good recently. Most recent episode was one of the best, IMO. Glad they are finally building up the backstory of the Police Chief and his big role in all of this.
2/27/2012 12:11:17 PM
every week I'm just loving monroe more and more!
2/27/2012 12:37:22 PM
His scenes tend to be what keep this show most entertaining for me
2/27/2012 1:10:07 PM
I was hoping Monroe would go psycho and rip his opponents arm off and beat him to death with it. He was more of a puss then I expected, but he was fighting something must stronger than a traditional human.I too enjoy the episodes where the Chief is more involved and still really want to know what sort of creature he is. Demon Lord perhaps?
2/27/2012 2:00:34 PM
2/27/2012 2:24:30 PM
Does Grimm have any special powers or anything? What makes a Grimm so scary to everyone else, just folklore?I like him just fine, but honestly, he's not as great as Monroe... heck, I can't even remember his first name... or his last, is it Grimm?
2/27/2012 9:47:29 PM
I came in here to post "If ddk likes it and its not archer then i probably won't like it", but i gave a snark remark in the first replyI'm Krallum and I approved this message.
2/27/2012 10:08:08 PM
^^ So far he doesn't seem to have any powers beyond being able to spot a Wessen's (sp?) true form. Whether or not that will change...who knows?
2/28/2012 7:17:09 AM
yeah, there has to be more to him than just being able to see true identities. I'm sure the show wants to keep him in the denial "i'm a cop first" state for a little bit before unlocking his true abilities.
2/28/2012 8:25:40 AM
He's just a bad-ass with no fear.
2/28/2012 8:57:56 AM
i'm ready for the story to progress a bit more quickly. i find the show interesting, for the most part, but i need a little more to keep it on my DVR list for much longer.
2/28/2012 5:18:51 PM
picked up for season 2
3/16/2012 3:25:20 PM
