I have posted this job with epack as well some other schools in the area but wanted to spread the word as much as possible:
Patrick Yarns, located in Kings Mountain, NC is looking to hire someone to facilitate daily operations by maintaining workstations and responding to network issues. This person would essentially act a help desk for up to 20 end users, all with varying levels of technological comfort and knowledge. To pre-empt some of the questions... starting pay is between 40-45 yearly, depending on experience. Medical and dental insurance after 3 months of employment, 401k after a year, company phone and laptop. 40-50 hours a week depending on the workload. Typical work schedule M-F, 8-5. On weekends, if something happens, must be able to remote login, walk someone through troubleshooting steps over the phone or possibly come to the plant for more involved issues. The plant runs 24 hrs/day, 6 days a week. Kings Mountain is about 30 minutes south of Charlotte.

Kings Mountain is actually about 30 miles west of Charlotte. Anyway, glad to see someone is hiring around that area!

Very true. I am somewhat new to the area and I take 85 South from Charlotte to get to work!
