http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1853728/Currently set for release on Christmas of 2012, this is looking like it's going to be pretty fucking amazing. My favorite description of the film was this:
10/21/2011 3:45:09 PM
Will see this.
10/21/2011 3:49:29 PM
holy. shit.
10/21/2011 3:50:58 PM
holy awesome
10/21/2011 3:53:40 PM
Still pissed at Will Smith for turning this downFoxx will be good, but Fresh Prince turned Freed Slave could've been great.
10/21/2011 3:58:55 PM
i remember reading about this and being all "holy shit"this has not changed
10/21/2011 4:06:10 PM
10/21/2011 4:11:47 PM
This will suck.He hasnt had a good movie since Pulp Fiction
10/21/2011 4:12:49 PM
Tarantino's stuff is always "Cool". conceptually, this is too, and i'm sure the execution will be as well.i'd really like to see a movie about John Brown.
10/21/2011 4:13:50 PM
you probably have the worst tastes of anyone on this boardso with that said, it's going to rule
10/21/2011 4:15:03 PM
successful troll is successful
10/21/2011 4:17:35 PM
I thought this movie was going to be about Django Reinhardt. Still, it sounds like it'll be really cool...and much more interesting than a movie about Django Reinhardt
10/21/2011 5:03:22 PM
Sweet & Lowdown was tangentially about Django Reinhardt. I doubt this movie will be better than that one.
10/21/2011 5:19:31 PM
10/21/2011 5:49:53 PM
I remember reading that Michael K Williams (Omar from the Wire) was also under consideration. I would have preferred him or Idris Elba over Jamie Fox or Will Smith.
10/21/2011 9:22:12 PM
Sick poster. Not surprised Will Smith turned this down. He doesn't take roles that could remotely be construed as controversial.
10/21/2011 9:25:53 PM
Count me among those who would've rather seen Stringer Bell as the freed slave than Jamie Foxx. That said, Foxx was pretty fucking hilarious as Motherfucker Jones, so he might be great in this role. The plot sounds appropriately surreal and Tarantino-esque.[Edited on October 22, 2011 at 6:25 PM. Reason : s]

10/22/2011 6:34:11 PM
Idris Elba would be better as the house slave
10/22/2011 9:56:49 PM
Djimon Hounsou would have made a kick ass Django IMO.Not to mention his name also starts with Dj
10/23/2011 12:45:58 AM
Sounds like Catcher Freeman. I will see this.
10/23/2011 7:09:59 PM
Quentin Tarantino sitting at his desk a year ago..."I love saying 'nigger'. How can I write a movie to do that as much as possible?"That being said, this sounds amazing.
10/23/2011 10:32:09 PM
Christoph Waltz is also playing the movie "Carnage"
10/24/2011 10:15:34 PM
10/24/2011 10:26:50 PM
A plantation of this sort would clealy be in need of some serious dead nigger storage
10/24/2011 10:41:11 PM
Jamie Foxx was Ray.WTF has Idris Elba ever done in movies?
10/25/2011 12:09:04 AM
Uh, Heimdall, hello? In all seriousness TV these days is nothing to scoff at.
10/25/2011 3:41:21 AM

10/26/2011 2:58:16 PM
The F-Word was used 265 times at a rate of 1.72 per minute in Pulp ficton. I'd say around 250 and at least once per 1.5 minutes.
10/26/2011 3:16:27 PM
Jamie Foxx's wife in Ray will be returning as his wife in Django Unchained.http://www.iwatchstuff.com/2011/10/quentin-tarantino-has-found-his-slave-wi.php
10/26/2011 4:37:23 PM
Must have been too edgy a role for Taraji P Henson.
10/26/2011 5:11:29 PM
Sacha Baron Cohen was added to the cast as a gambler who purchases Django's wife.
11/14/2011 2:54:44 PM
new poster
4/13/2012 2:14:07 AM
Chiwetel Ejiofor would make a good house slave... maybe a tad too serious for a tarantino movie, but a good bad guy
4/13/2012 2:58:29 AM
Debuted at Cannes...
5/22/2012 9:23:38 AM

5/22/2012 12:32:31 PM

5/22/2012 5:00:40 PM
