Outside of the obvious (house, utilities, cars cell phone etc) things that most people pay for, what do you pay for on a monthly/quarterly/yearly/etc basis?Spotify - $5 per month (can't stand ads)Netflix - $25 per month (soon to be canceled)Pandora - $36 per year (can't stand ads)Planet Fitness - $15 per month (need to see if i can get that changed to $10)Sirius - $0 (would pay monthly/yearly but I bought lifetime a long time ago)]

Just curious but why do you pay for both Spotify and Pandora? Aren't they basically the same thing? We pay for cable but we often end up canceling after a few months and then getting it again after a few months Other than that there's two magazines I subscribe to and that's it.

TWC Roadrunner (just internet)Two Smartphone lines with unlimited data and 1000 texts/eachI thought about paying for Pandora since I listen to about 80hrs a week. Tcomputer is limited to 40hrs/week of listening, but then Pandora decided to give me unlimited listening for free. I don't mind the ads that much.[Edited on October 13, 2011 at 8:49 PM. Reason : .]

-Netflix instant and Xbox Live-Entertainment Weekly - it was only $10/yr. I'll renew it if I can get it around that price. -I pay around $5 for one of those credit monitoring services where you can get your credit report whenever you want and a score and it alerts you if there's any changes.I'm thinking about paying for a monthly music service after using the free Spotify so much but I haven't researched enough on which service to get. I'm also considering Amazon prime.

I was using a HD antenna instead of paying the $13 for TWC local chanels but had too many issues with my location and getting a good consistent reception on all the channels. for those of you with credit monitoring:what service do you use?what credit agencies does it track (all 3)?does it give you anytime access to scores & reports?what's the general way it works?
10/26/2011 9:42:05 PM
we use the free service through experian. It freezes your credit unless you call with a PIN and authorize a specific company to obtain your credit. It stays open for 24 hours and then closes again. http://www.experian.com/consumer/help/states/nc.html
