regardless, I think we can all agree both are far superior to DC
10/9/2011 9:02:40 PM
People from Charlotte have such an inferiority complex about Raleigh lol.
10/9/2011 9:03:43 PM
^^^That place was torn down to put apartments in or something. They left those big swans in the pond though, which is cool I guess.

I've lived in both cities and I definitely prefer charlotte more. Plus BOA layoff's are mostly in the branches and not the headquarters.
10/9/2011 10:10:31 PM
485 is not better than 440. 440 is at least a complete God damned circle. But Charlotte is a nice city. The best thing Raleigh has going for it is NCSU and the smaller colleges around the city, but even that is arguable.
10/9/2011 10:16:35 PM
I'm from Charlotte originally, but have been in Raleigh for close to 10 years... I prefer Raleigh- closer to the beach, better college sports (more fun to go to a game), job industry is better for my field, and I like the areas... and somehow the department of transportation is better (don't know how that is even possible though). oh, and Business Week voted Raleigh blah blah blah
10/9/2011 10:19:35 PM
superior downtown area if you like ghetto more spacious It's a lot bigger so I would hope so.better neighborhoods LOFUCKINGLbetter malls I honestly have no idea about this but is this really a selling point for people?)more jobs it's a bigger city so I would hope soI-85, I-485, and I-77 This is seriously the funniest thing in his comment. I-85 is the biggest piece of shit road in the state. No one should ever have to travel that fucking awful road.prettier women (really? )more handsome men (really? )better public transportation If by this you mean they have cleaner, less shittier buses? Again, is this is a selling point?geographically superior How so?better planned city Where do you get your drugs cus they gotta be good. cleaner streets Seriously, where can I get some of your drugs?485 > 440 This is seriously hilarious.further away from both Chapel Hill and Duke This is definitely true but Charlotte has more bandwagon walmart fans of UNC than all the rest of the state combined.[Edited on October 10, 2011 at 10:58 AM.
