Can someone get a copy of the latest Cisco VPN Client to me? It's free, but you just have to have a Cisco account, which I do not. Looks like the latest is 5.0.07. I've got 5.0.06 and it blue screens Windows 7 if I unplug the network cable on my laptop without disconnecting the VPN first. What makes it most annoying is Windows disables my NIC after X period of time when I step away, even after disabling that in the power save options. Hopefully the new version fixes this. Also, our IT department sucks and I don't want to argue with them. Thanks!

Yeah, I can only really find .06 anywhere and I don't have a rapidshare account.More specifically, I have 5.0.06.0110 and the latest version is 5.0.07.0290.

are you running windows 7 in 32bit or 64 bit mode? only 32bit is supported. for 64bit use the anyconnect client.

^ Second the anyconnect client. Cisco is about to get rid of the old VPN Client.

actually, let me backpedal a bit, i didn't read the OP carefully-- and missed that this happens when unplugging the cable while the VPN tunnel is up. lemme get back to you on that.EDIT:http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCtd08761

Still using 5.0.03. I use it with Windows 7 64 bit but within XP mode. Works nicely. Only way I know of to get internet PLUS use the VPN.

^^Awesome! That's the issue, and I found 5.0.07 out and about on the net after some work. I'm out of the country right now so finding it was a little more trouble than usual. Thanks Bobby.

i've been using shrew soft (http://www.shrew.net/download/vpn) for connecting to our old cisco concentrators ever since win7 came out

yeah, use the shrewsoft client for the old ipsec-based stuff. the developer is a good dude... and it's free, and works very well.the anyconnect client doesn't suck.
