I am def going to see this movie. I usually go with my bff but we can't fly her up here this time. I am glad I am not seeing it alone because being almost 30 in a theater full of 15-18 year olds is kind of embarrassing but not enough to stay home. http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi2052299801/

maybe stop going to see movies targeted at 15 year old girls
10/1/2011 6:46:51 PM
Sounds like a good place to pickup 16 year old girls I'll meet you there!

^^I think this is equivalent to boys always liking legos and 16 year old girls. You never grow out of the silliness.

what's wrong with legos and 16 year old girls?
10/1/2011 8:34:24 PM
I'll be seeing it. No Homo.

I'll def. watch it, because I loved all of the silly books... #teamedward

I stopped when Jacob fell in love with Bella's newborn. The story was almost redeeming with the potential that Jacob and the other girl wolf whose name escapes me might fall in love or whatever and complete the theme of love through adversity but that whole imprint on a baby thing was too much. Besides, why is every damned thing now a Part 1 and 2? I can understand Harry Potter (at least the way it was done) as well as the new Hobbit movie, but this garbage? Really?

^Because it's twice as much money to suck out of fans, and people will see it. And I think there's a legitimate argument that there's too much going on in this book to limit it to a 2.5 hour movie. This book really does have a distinct split in the middle that makes it easy to divide. So, why make millions off of one, when you can make twice as much, and make your rabid fans happier, just by dividing it?Just going by the trailer, I think this one has the potential to be pretty good on a Twilight level, which has put out some pretty crappy stuff. I always enjoy watching this series, because I liked the books, but Eclipse was the only one so far that's really been any sort of quality on a cinematic standard (and it's still not a great movie by any means).

If that's the synopsis you're basing your opinion off of, then it's no wonder you don't understand the appeal of this series. And yes, this one was actually the best out of the four so far. [Edited on July 11, 2012 at 4:27 PM. Reason : ]

my fiancee and I laughed in the theatre when they showed bella stalking the deer at the end of the trailer. Just sums this up perfectly.

^^No, not entirely. I watched the rifftrax of the first movie and saw as much of the second that I could sit through. Seemed to all boil down to girl falls in love with someone that would ordinarily be dismissed as a creepy stalker then allows two dudes to fight over her because she is too indecisive.Does a werewolf not fall in love with a baby then? If that little account is featured in the best of the series, even as a minor occurrence... kind of makes me wonder just how bad the others really are. Just watched the trailer. Holy crap. Women Venus, men Mars I guess.[Edited on July 11, 2012 at 5:18 PM. Reason : -]

Yes, the other movies are really that bad. But the story is nice, like brain candy. Certainly not profound works of literature. And yes, the werewolf falls in love with the baby. They're all about robbing the cradle in this series.
