this shit is gonna get canceled...her husband, Chris D'Elia, was funnier than whitney herself...
9/23/2011 11:44:05 AM
I didn't watch but got bombarded with commercials during the rest of the NBC shows. They try to make her out to be a lot hotter than she really is
9/23/2011 11:45:14 AM
so? It's a sitcom not a porno.
9/23/2011 11:56:49 AM
I mean (from just the commercials, at least) that they were trying to play up the sex appeal big time and she isn't that hot.Just an observation. I'm not not watching it because of that, I'm not watching because it doesn't look funny at all[Edited on September 23, 2011 at 12:03 PM. Reason : not not]

so I caught about 20 seconds of this at the end of something else I recorded. Was the laugh track a joke? It seemed so contrived, and kept playing after every single line I figured they must have been doing that on purpose, but my recording shut off and I never got a punchline...or is it really just a horrible laugh track?

horrible acting + horrible jokes = bad ratings == canceled show.
9/23/2011 12:46:49 PM
they need to stop laughing to much then, they were laughing literally every half sentence

I liked it, but I miss Outsourced

to that

I like the husband guy from his appearance on Workaholics... but I watched ~30 seconds of this first episode and could not believe there is a studio audience/laugh track. Didn't know that shows still do this and it was very annoying.
9/23/2011 1:27:16 PM
it's there to remind people when to laugh
9/23/2011 2:04:17 PM
I live with a mid-twenties idiot blonde girl.. and she loved the show. So they probably reached their target audience. Mid-twenties idiot girls who want to be skanky and slutty, but they're really unhappy with that... and really just want to be married.
9/23/2011 2:09:16 PM
Tell me more about your roommate...
9/23/2011 2:14:00 PM
That's as exciting as it gets, unfortunately.

I just didn't get the gun necklace. Was it ironic? Is she an undercover cop?

The sexy nurse outfit was really weird. It was supposed to be funny/goofy on the one hand. But I got the impression it was also supposed to be sexy/arousing on the other.Instead, I was confused and uncomfortable. She had a lot of skin bared, considering it's only ep 1. Like at the end, when she threw her leg over the dude...it was just like her whole butt in your face...and I wasn't quite clear on what I had just watched.
9/23/2011 10:06:15 PM
don't have much to say that hasn't already been said, hate the laugh track, wasn't terribly impressed, but my wife and I like her standup so we'll probably give it another week or two to make final decision
9/23/2011 10:11:03 PM
9/24/2011 8:40:52 AM
I'm easy to please so the nurse outfit was enough to make the episode enjoyable for me
9/24/2011 10:10:08 AM
Pics of the nurse outfit please...Laugh track will end this show.
9/24/2011 11:26:35 AM
this broad isn't remotely funnyin fact, she's downright annoyingbut i'd stick it in her
9/24/2011 11:46:24 AM
^^ its a live audience so the blinking Laugh Sign will end this show.
9/24/2011 12:31:28 PM
the laugh track/live audience* sealed the deal for my wife and i; four minutes in and we were done. the show should stick around if she keeps wearing hot outfits i guess.*honestly, i refuse to believe it was a real audience, even if laughing on command. it sounded like ferris bueller loaded the laugh disc on his keyboard
9/28/2011 8:34:32 AM
it's definitely live audience.

was in NY this weekend and every block had an annoying advertisement for this show with quotes like "EVERY MARRIAGE ENDS... in sweatpants"I will never watch it just based on this
9/28/2011 10:05:56 AM
i didnt find it bad enough to turn from it, my girlfriend thought it was cuteim sure the show will make adjustments it can be entertainingand most shows have laugh tracks its not like its a throw backthen again, we are chelsea lately fans so we may be giving the show a more of a pass then we normally would[Edited on September 28, 2011 at 10:46 AM. Next person that says this show has a laugh track should be suspended
9/28/2011 10:48:36 AM
NBC has to have a show on Thursday night that will only go one season. It's tradition.
9/28/2011 11:10:22 AM
ok we get it is a live studio audience but the effect with the viewer is the same soLaugh Track. suspend me.
9/28/2011 12:14:36 PM
9/28/2011 12:20:55 PM
I wouldn't piss on whitney if she was on fire.
9/29/2011 4:55:13 PM
What's up with the Laugh Track?
9/29/2011 10:47:22 PM
i know right
9/29/2011 10:56:29 PM
It's an advanced and futuristic laugh track composed of dozens of individual organic laugh machines.
9/30/2011 12:01:53 AM
The fact that this show is doubling the ratings of Community (in the 18-49 demo) makes me sad and angry.
9/30/2011 12:11:36 AM

9/30/2011 7:48:49 AM
I really loved last night's episode!!! I giggled! big thumbs up!
9/30/2011 8:46:00 AM
