Are D-SLR's allowed inside the stadium (especially those with a tele lens)? I want to bring mine saturday not only for the game but because its military appreciation day. Its been a long time since I've been so I don't know the "rules". Thanks!

so... a lot of DSLR's have video capability... even though they're "handheld"./clearasmud[Edited on September 15, 2011 at 7:13 PM. Reason : ]

cool! thanks...I wonder what constitutes a "hand held" sized camera. I'm sure they are referring to point and shoots (even the advanced models like the canon g-series)...but even though I can "hand hold" my d-slr and its long lens, I'm not sure security would agree lol. Is there a general number I can call? I see a bunch of numbers on that document but none that seem to be what I need.

"can I hold my camera in my hand?"check"ok im good!"thats how you know, if you have hands, and you can hold it, youre good.

i think all they're trying to keep out with the "hand held" language is cameras on tripods and shit

I think they used to say that camera's with detachable lenses were not allowed but I guess thats changed.

last year they argued with some guy at the gate for the vt game. they said that "professional looking" cameras were not allowed. he had to go back and put his slr type camera in his car.
