Currently:Groupons/Living Socials/Twongos/etcLaptops in various states of disrepairI used to do baseball cards and coins when I was a kid and I'm still wondering what to do with all that crap. I also collected a ton of shotglasses while I was in the military...at least those are still proving useful

I, too, did baseball and other sports cards as a kid (up till late 90s). Back in maybe 2007-2009 I got back into it a little...but I've since lost interest. Other than that, pretty much nothing.

Can tabs.I have two huge vases full of them. They represent thousands of cans of soda and beer that I'd probably be better off without.

Comics - not actively collecting. Just holding what I bought years ago.Old obsolete computer stuff. My best items are a 15" hard drive platter and an inexplicably thick mouse owners manual. Just grab free stuff where I can.I probably collect other stuff as well, I guess it depends on what someone would consider a normal quantity of things.I'd actively collect other stuff, but I'm poor.Edited: \/ I've spent $0 on my collections over the last decade or so.[Edited on September 13, 2011 at 4:04 PM. a good way to be not poor is to stop collecting "stuff"

big collector of military models: typically diecast planes and helicopters, diecast tanks and other armor, navy warships (mega-bloks brand)also have a bunch of batman lego sets from over the years. will prob get more when the new batman sets hit stores.all kinds of sports memorabilia too for yankees, giants, rangers and ncsu

legos, but mom gave away my collection at home. now i have to start over. i'm ok with that. nothing i had at home was really worth anything and there was no way i could remember how to build it again.I also have a rock collection of sorts. Lots of rough/uncut and cut gemstones. I think that collection is finished since I don't work at the mine anymore.[Edited on September 13, 2011 at 4:19 PM. Reason : .]

Books. Between my girlfriend and myself I'm sure we're well over 500 volumes (assisted by my great-uncle leaving me his library of a couple hundred books when he passed away last year). Yes, they're a bitch to move.Die-cast cars. Still have most of my matchbox/hot wheels from childhood, plus I collect "superfast" era matchbox, recent 1/64 American Muscle series, and some of the current M2 1/64 models. Plus anything that catches my eye in the current matchbox/hot wheels lineup. I also collect 1/18, but as those tend to be large and can be expensive, I only have about 15 of those. That's about it. I still have a bunch of baseball, football, and NASCAR cards from when I was younger, but as they're not worth much right now they sit in an attic. Got back into football cards briefly in 2004-05 but the interest was short-lived.

Have a bunch of comics from when I was younger. Don't know when I should try and sell them. Probably not worth it at this point. Now I just collect the videogames I have played. I have quite a large collection. I hate selling them back to Gamestop why because fuck Gamestop I guess.

Nothing that interesting. I like physical, hardcover books and I like getting 1st print and/or special prints or just versions with cool bindings. They are almost always books that I already know and love and I'll run across a cool copy of it in a used bookstore or something so I get them fairly cheap.[Edited on September 13, 2011 at 4:55 PM. I probably display 30-40.used to collect shot glasses, not they're in boxes. right now i'm not actively collecting much of anything. things like sports/concert ticket stubs lost their sentimental value after i started going to a ton of them. I still have a few from when i was young that were memorable

As a kid I collected marvel comic cards, then pogs, then Magic cards. Still have all that in my attic. I used to collect knives and swords. I was a big medieval nerd in high school. I have well over 40 knives, 15 swords, and a full steel shield. I have a real katana from WWII Japan as well as a Japanese walking stick/ sword that were given to my grandfather after the war. I also collected shot glasses from every state and country that I went to. Still have most of those, but they rarely see light. I used to collect foreign currency and older currency. I have maybe a few hundred invested in that. I now collect firearms.I also have way more jackets and coats then appropriate (probably 20). [Edited on September 13, 2011 at 6:42 PM. Reason : .]

Right now I just collect/game with table top wargaming models. Also collect firearms and tons of books ( I have worked at Barnes and noble for years). I really need to get rid of a bunch of this stuff that I dont even look at anymore.
