This thread will be used to keep track of tww fantasy (association) football leagues and other general fantasy stuff.

If there is any interest in starting a "Champions League" league, the group stages start the Sept. 13th. I made normal and head-to-head groups for tww:

That's what I was thinking. Adebayor has to be the Spurs' first option and hopefully Modric and Parker can get him the ball in space. Mata was amazing the 30' he was in two weeks ago, but I don't know if he can repeat that performance or where he stands in their lineup. I never saw him play at Valencia.

These are the most popular out of the 4.0 strikers. I was thinking Altintop, but only because of his twin brother.



Just fyi, the last two numbers are 'price' and '% of teams owning.'

Not much to go on with those but I'd go with Ailton if you had to pick someone off that list. He at least starts and plays for APOEL which is about as good as it gets for someone worth 4.0.

Do teams release their line-ups/bench anytime before the match begins? Just curious because Dzeko didn't make an appearance today and I had read somewhere Aguero was doubtful to play.

I haven't watched any of these guys outside of Football Manager. I'm just hoping they perform like they do in the game.

I definitely gambled and lost with two stoke defenders (Huth and Shawcross). They play Man U next week so they're definitely riding the pine.

On ESPN, I left Vorm, Smalling, and Dempsey on the bench and they each had more points than any player on my team other than Aguero.

Way to go, Richard Dunne He's done playing on my squad for the rest of the season.

I'm giving Dzeko one more week to put up some decent points before I look at another forward. I jumped on his bandwagon after his 4 goal game and he's been quiet since.
