How would people feel about having their facebook profile pic appear with their user name on every post? That way no would know who you were talking to, could meet them in real life if you wanted to, and, no sock puppets.

Definitely not a troll, but just curious about the profile pic idea? You wouldn't see all their profile info, just the picture. It would make the banter just a tad more intimate, and if you wanted the opportunity, you could send them a friend request

if you want facebook, go to facebook. most of us know what each other look like anyways. if you want to see what someone looks like then go to their gallery.

why would you want a streamlined message board bloated with profile picture under each post????

remember, tww isn't just for the folks who are already addicted. even though there's a couple hundred people who are on tww almost every day and make up the majority of the post traffic, there are still thousands of others (believe it or not) who mostly just browse or only make the occasional post. this is their tww too. a lot of people will recognize a lot of the names they see posting on here, but there are still a ton of people who check user profiles to learn more about the person behind the name.

to directly address your question bigpacker010, facebook pics or any other avatar underneath every post isn't really tww's style. what is possible and what quite a lot of people do is list their facebook or twitter or whatever other site in their user profile and people can connect with each other that way. there will be changes in the future that will make it easier for people to customize their user profile pages though and add those kinds of links
