what kind of drugs are you selling out of your home that you think this is all necessary?

Yo, all due respect, but this right here is a Barksdale joint

Had some idiots go through our cars and want to make sure I have FULL coverage, for next time...
8/17/2011 2:40:16 PM
Why are you hiding your drugs in your cars?

I would do it, but i want outside cams and dont want to drill or go through windows. what are the options?

No drilling and no going through windows? Well you've narrowed it down to hiring people to stand outside your place and keep an eye on things.[Edited on August 17, 2011 at 9:39 PM. Reason : *]

There are wireless outdoor cameras, you'd just be restricted to setting it up near an outdoor electrical outlet (which of course could be unplugged, but I guess you could set it up at such an angle as to see people unplugging it). I've thought about installing a few on the back of my townhouse b/c I have a 2nd story deck where I could place them out of reach.Potentially, you could also use one of those light-socket outlet converter thingummys and plug it into an outdoor light. But that could be a bit tacky looking

Parents just installed 3 outdoor and 1 indoor camera onto their security system recently after someone kicked in the door of the house 2 doors down and robbed the place. It's an upper middle-class neighborhood, too. Two are pointing down at the pool and patio, and the other is staring you right in the face on the front porch

instead of buying and paying for a second security system and high res cameras, can you not just park in your garage? (assuming you have one of course).

^^^^^ I've fed wires (networking and otherwise) through floor A/C vents before. Can run them through the vents, and under the house to another vent in the room where your DVR would be.^I have 3 vehicles and barely a 1 car garage.[Edited on August 18, 2011 at 9:08 AM. Reason : ...]

Are cameras not a 'system' of securing your home?
8/18/2011 11:23:39 AM
no, they are a component of a system for securing your house

Cameras don't secure shit. They monitor.
