Being rare doesn't make it worth anything. You can't polish a turd and this is no exception. It's a halfway complete frankencar project on a 20 year old POS Japanese pickup. You had to know going into this that you were the only person on the planet that would even think about dumping cash into this kind of work. I'm sure it takes some skills to transplant a BMW engine into a Yugo but that doesn't mean anyone should waste their time doing it. I've seen all kinds of custom cars from kit cars to rat rods to ricers and this is pretty close to the biggest waste of time and money I've ever seen. The biggest thing that bugs me is you didn't even respray the engine bay when you swapped engines! No one wants a "custom" ride that looks like it should be in the same junkyard where you got all the parts for it.The sad fact is that this thing's got a face only a mother can love and seeing as you brought this abomination into the world I think you're going to be stuck with it for that price....Just my $.02

why all the hate people. You don't want the car, i understand. There is a community around these trucks, it is just not as large as some other communities.

Im with you Scrager, my buddy picked up a S10 to swap a 350 into and never finished the project. He had the donor engine ready to go, and by the time he took out the old engine, started looking at making wiring harnesses and other "little things" he didnt want to finish the project. You def have 3K worth of work and parts in this and it would be a great starting point for somebody who wants one of these trucks, but doesnt have the time/means/tool/space to do the engine swap part of the project. Good luck with the sale and I hope somebody comes and scoops it up.and to all of the haters: Just because you dont like it or it isnt something you are interested in, doesnt mean it isnt worth this amount of money. He is dealing with a limited market and is trying to get it advertised in as many places as possible so he can connect with the right buyer. An 80s tin top suzuki is not worth the 3-5K that they can demand, but they go for that much because it is a niche market. You can make this argument for a lot of older and unique cars. My van is KBB at $600 and there is no way in hell i would sell it for less than $1500 and most people wouldnt take it from me for free if i tried to give it to them. Get off of his nuts, he knows what he is wants and what it is worth to the right buyer.

get a new battery, clean the carb, and get it running. chances of selling: +1000

yes, i understand that, but i really don't have the time to do that right now so i thought i'd see what kind of interest i got as it is.
