I usually don't like newer hip hop but this guy is definitely holding it down. If there is anybody here who is into hip hop, he is definitely worth checking out. The album is really good overall and the beats are siiiiiiiiick. Some of my favorite songs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqvvWl6tYBwhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-uJI12vH4QThe album is completely free as well.

fucking love kritI think Return of 4eva is better than K.R.I.T. Wuz Here as a whole, but the version of "Country Shit" on Wuz Here is untouchable.First five tracks on Return of 4eva are amazing, as is "Another Naive Individual Glorifying Greed and Encouraging Racism"
8/3/2011 2:54:56 PM
woo country shit is a banger

LOVE krit. Yeah, I too would rather hear some new Outkast, but since that ain't happening for a while this will absolutely hold me over. "Highs and Lows" and "Another N.I.G.G.A." are my favorites, but I really can't find any faults with this album. Like it a little better than "Krit Wuz Here", but that one is banging too. There's a new Smoke DZA song called "On the Corner" that Krit produced and does the hook. Bun B is on it as well, definitely worth checking. Sampled a song by an old soul group, the Montclairs, called "Do I Stand a Chance", for those of you into that stuff too.Oh, and how could i forget "American Rapstar"?? dude uses the word "tithes" in a rap song. Who in the hell does that? Genius![Edited on August 10, 2011 at 1:11 PM. Reason : .]

Big K.R.I.T apparently dropping an album on 9/27 called "Live from the Underground". 9/27 has some good releases...J.Cole, Big K.R.I.T, Phonte (from Little Brother), and a few more decent ones as well.
8/10/2011 1:36:13 PM
time machines and country shit are probably some of the best rap songs i've heard in ages.

8/24/2011 11:19:16 AM
^^ the "Pimp" song on that mixtape, with Bun B and 2 Chainz, has been in heavy rotatian the past week. Krit may be my favorite producer out right now, soooooo soulful.
8/25/2011 11:01:56 AM
I enjoyed this...especially My Sub, but I really REALLY prefer KRIT Wuz Here.Awesome hype coming from the deep south for the last couple of years...good to see it.
8/25/2011 10:17:46 PM
Last King 2 comes off more as a bunch of features/remixes he'd done previously, but I still thoroughly enjoyed itKRIT, Dom Kennedy, Kendrick Lamar, Dee-1, Nipsey Hussle, and Skyzoo have made hip-hop in 2011 a joy for me. I don't have to listen to dumb fucking shit like Carter IV or Finally Famous, and of the six of them, only Dom has charged for a project this year.
8/29/2011 1:04:00 AM
New Kendrick Lamar is excellent...one of my favorite hip-hop releases of the year, along with Random Axe and Shabazz Palaces.
