Get used to seeing these. They are selling left and right and just announced- oilburner versions on the way. With 50MPG. Maybe we can get some cheaper diesel now?? [Edited on July 11, 2011 at 7:12 PM. Reason : Or CRUZE... whatever]

the hatchback (soon going into production) looks pretty good.they should also make a Cruze SS (sedan and/or hatchback) with like 250 hp...!

^ at 3100 lbs they're gonna need more than 250 to make it worthy of an SS badge. That's just my opinion though. I'm sure Chevy doesn't give a damn if its worthy as long as it makes them money .

I like them but I am sure TG will tear them apart

They're pretty chubby for a compact car, and while I wouldn't consider one if shopping in that class, it's the General's best effort in a while. (optimus = pot)

shit's a ton bigger than my 91 civic to boot

i'll take the focus with powershift over the cruze (but that's as much because there's a 5-door hatch already)there are rumblings that ford is bringing over the TDCi, as wellwith GM's announcement, i'd say ford will bring it over around 2013, too

Let's hope they're as quiet as VW's new TDI engines.

I freaking love the new Focus 5 door, what a sweet design![Edited on July 12, 2011 at 9:31 AM. Reason : fuck a powershift. gimme a MANUAL transmission!]

lest we forget about the cobalt SS.. "no-lift shift" feature... 14.xx quarter, iirc

That car's performance was ridiculous. Faster than the STI or Evo MR around VIR to boot. Too bad it's FWD and ugly as sin, inside and out
