Hoodhype (heavy focus on underground hip hop, producers, and emcees; nearly shuns all mainstream music and trends, good general conversation as well, funny as hell overall)
Hip Hop Talk Show (deals more with mainstream hip hop, newly released tracks, big emphasis on the beats and the samples used, also big on digging in the crates of nostalgia)
Fly Fishing on the web (very funny podcast with some non-stuffy fishing enthusiasts, bout an hour of more BS convo than fishing most times)
Orvis Fly Fishing Guide Podcast (fairly lighthearted, but focused on fly fishing tips, 30 mins to an hour)
Bob and the Showgram (you already know)
Ask about Fly Fishing (the "boring" fly fishing podcast, typiclly three hours on one single aspect of fly fishing, poor sound quality and it can be laborious to listen to, but you get some of the best info you can find)
TPSRadio.net Pro MMA radio (coverage of future and prior professional MMA events and rumor mill type stuff, lots of guest interviews)
Sherdog Beatdown Radio (another pro MMA podcast, but i typically disagree with these guys perspectives on fighters)

The host, If I remember correctly, is the dept. head of Neurology at Yale. He also has 4 other 'skeptical rogues' that do the podcast with him. Very smart guy and very pro-science and medicine. They aren't 'Skeptical' just for the sake of being dicks and making people look stupid, they just promote science and lambaste fools that attempt to promote bad science or impose thier own agenda into science (such as intelligent design activist attempting to make schools teach it, crazy anti-vaccination crowds that completely fearmonger people into believing that vaccinations cause autism, etc). To most, it sounds harmless, but they actually talk about worldwide examples of people dying because they were convinced by homeopathic doctors could cure their cancer with honey and sunshine. They also make fun of any pseudo-science folks in the news (Bigfoot experts, UFO experts, ghost huneters, etc). It's basically 'discuss the news' followed by interviews ranging from fellow skeptics, to scientists, to bigfoot hunters to psychics..... They'll have Michio Kaku one week and some Bigfoot hunter from Alabama the next.

Good thing about that podcast is you can download all previous episodes free (The 'Get All' feature not all podcasts have). They're 1 hr and at work I downloaded like all 290 episodes and am working my way through them

Honestly I've only been regularly listening to podcasts for like 2 months, and I wouldn't say I regularly listen to any of them, but I prefer the ones that make me laugh.

Smodcast (the main Kevin Smith podcast)
Comedy Bang Bang (funny podcast with comedian guest starts)
Celtic Music Podcast (I love celtic music, sometimes I listen to this when I'm going to sleep)
Sometimes I listen to part of the Giant Bombcast (gaming podcast) but it's way too long, it's like a 2 hour podcast

I've listened to the BS report off and on for a couple of years though.

most agree.

though, i wouldn't say he's sold out to advertisers. he's only sold out if its led to him doing something that he doesn't actually want to do, which i don't think it has. i believe he's just genuinely interested in replicating his old radio show on podcast form. personally, i think the radio show format sucks, too. his first year+ of solo interview shows were as good as any entertainment/comedy podcast ever produced.

Irreligiosophy - Shit on all things religious. Very vulgar and rude and hilarious.
Science Friday - NPR Talk of the Nation Science Friday.
The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe - Look at science and pseudo-science news stories. Generally funny commentary. Good interviews.
Stuff You Should Know - Great rapport between the two hosts. Wide range of topics. How breathalyzers work. How cheese works (more like a history of cheese, types of cheese, how cheese is made, etc). How schizophrenia works. How roller derby works. Hosts are pretty damn funny.
Wiretap - CBC radio show. Dry humor, fiction. Generally just phone conversations between the host and his nutty friends who have all kinds of crazy ideas.
Radiolab - WNYC NPR raio show. Kind of like This American Life but centered around scientific topics. Pick a theme, record three or four people telling stories somehow related to that theme.

He's a crazy conspiracy theorist that calls himself a skeptic. He doesn't think we landed on the moon and he thinks the gov't killed Kennedy. I mean, I liked hearing him take on Christians, but he often is not rational.

^^I'm pretty sure he said he's open to the possibility that Lee Harvey Oswald didn't kill Kennedy and that the moon landing could've been faked. He doesn't out-and-out say both of those things are true.

He buys into the "magic bullet" garbage and clearly said he doesn't believe we went to the moon. I bet he believes in the inability to pass through the Van Allen belt like every other moron.

^^yeah, Duncan Trussell (Warren Wilson alum) is awesome. his podcasting went to another level after him and Natasha Leggero split. a lot of the old Lavender Hour's are still worth checking out, if you can track them down. especially the one's featuring (fellow North Carolinian) Emil Amos.
