Well, duh.On an unrelated note I'm starting to see Li-ion batteries online being used on stripped down chopper projects because they're so small. Some even put out enough amps to use an electric starter.[Edited on June 22, 2011 at 5:18 PM. Reason : .]

yeah i'd like to see a li-fe po car battery... i've been looking into ways to connect a standard altenator to one without blowing one up... but still can't get my hands on the specs... and how to charge one.

Porsche has an option for Li-ion battery on the current GT3. I think it weighs around 14lbs, good stuff.

i wonder if Li-ion batteries would work in place of deep cycle marine batteries and if they have such a thing yet

I would assume they would work fairly well for marine batteries. If you are using it for your electronics and your TM, you would have a much much lower current pull than starting an engine.
