Do you like pool? If you join league you will have a team, you'll meet people and make new friends. Not to mention you'll have a great time.

It's not expensive. You do not have to be a pool shark. The APA has a handicap scoring system that equalizes the gameplay so that everyone can enjoy it. And the big payoff (in my opinion) is if your team or you personally qualify and win tournaments you will get a free trip to Vegas to compete in nationals. I went there and it was great.
