Another Ezio game.

In this one he goes to Constantinople.

I wish it was an Altair game going to Constantinople, I'm more interested in the Eastern Roman Empire than the Ottoman Turks.

Ezio looks older, maybe this will take place later in his life?

The thing on his wrist blade is a hook, I've read, so he can dangle with 1 hand

I'm halfway thru AC2 right now but I gotta say would definitely prefer seeing Altair again.

EDIT: Just looked on wikipedia, apparently both Ezio & Altair will be in Revelations!!!!!

I've had a blast with Brotherhood. I don't think I can wait until November for this game to come out.

if i had that wrist blade i'd be afraid of accidentally deploying it with my wrist flexed and puncturing a finger

That's why Altair did not have a finger, that was part of their oath. Da Vinci modified the blade so that Ezio did not need to lose his. Pretty awesome.

Desmond comatose, but living as Ezio (who is older, mid-50s)...who is obtaining Altair's memories. Looks like AC is going Inception on our asses.

Supposedly this will be the last Ezio installment though, so next year (maybe 2) we'll be introduced to a new character hopefully!

^Or it might just be set entirely in the future with Desmond using all the skills he learned as Altair and Ezio.

I dunno, this series is such a cash-cow for Ubisoft I think it'd be dumb for them to start wrapping it up now...

Having been to Istanbul I can't wait for this game to come out! Personally, I thought Assassin's Creed 2 was much better than Brotherhood.

Just beat Brotherhood. Holy shit.

I can confidently say that it's been a really long time since I've played a series this good. I'm hooked. I just hope Ubisoft doesn't fuck up the plot by keep stretching things out so they can do more sequels.

The assassin recruits in Brotherhood made the game easymode

Yeah, I pretty much considered using arrow storm to be cheating.

Well as the Ezio story has progressed they've been good at making him more powerful, which I can appreciate as opposed to starting from scratch each game

true, but you gotta admit it was awesome watching them get better and taking people out.

^ yeah the assassins come in handy, especially in tough spots. i never used the arrow storm and just called them in for backup. dont get me wrong, i love taking on like dozens and dozens of guys at once and trying to get a kill streak up but after a while it gets time consuming and especially during a mission when you need to chase down a target fleeing from you it helps. also it's pretty bad ass when they ride in on horses to back you up when a huge fight breaks out, i'm all like "let's even the odds a little, bitches!!!"

Another overpowered option in Assassins Creed are the mercenaries you can buy. I've never seen one of them die.

I know that the combat will be nothing like what was in that trailer...but imagine if they integrated Arkham Asylum's combat style into this game...it'd be the greatest thing ever

I started this the other day, and while I'm enjoying the general assassin activities once more. I have two complaints:

1) Eagle vision is now contextual/assigned to a different button. It was useful being able to scout out things with eagle vision on high. It seems sort of silly to have the ability for three games and then lose it have it scaled back in the fourth.

2) I miss the glyphs and their puzzles. I thought they were a fantastic addition to II and Brotherhood. While I sort of get why they've gone the route they have, I don't like what they've substituted in.

Main storyline = 12 hour playthrough = absolute bullshit. For all the things they got right in this iteration of the game, there certainly wasn't enough of it.

That doesn't bother me quite as much. I think games are tending toward the shorter side these days, especially sandboxes. I'm the type to run around do a lot of the side missions, puzzles, etc., so it'll take me quite a bit longer, I think.

You're missing out. The first was definitely rough/repetitive, but they improved it greatly in the second, really fleshed the game out.

Yeah you can probably find AC2 for like 12 bucks, it's 5 times the game AC1 is.

Not having played this but reading plenty of it, I think I'm going to pass. So far for me, brotherhood was hands down the best.

Crazy ass story, awesome features with the additional assassin's, and the multiplayer was pretty cool.

I'm getting a bit tired of companies thinking they need to annualize something just because it makes money.

This Eagle Vision thing was driving me crazy. The guy I was supposed to protect kept dying because Eagle Vision wouldn't trigger, so I couldn't spot the hitmen.
