http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=6487292thought it deserved it's own thread, this took me by surprise but if you look at the effort level of his teams lately it probably isn't, his team quitting about halfway through this last year really made me lose a lot of respect for him but I guess it wasn't his best effort these last 5 yrs or moreanyhow I don't think he's a bad guy, he did add a national title and some final fours to the acc but he also had a pretty pathetic academic rating that most people ignored and like I said I think he's kind of been packing it in the last 5 yrs or so, so I actually think the acc can really upgrade here

the way he coached, he prob didn't want to drop dead coaching, maybe he can finally relax a little now, it's an odd time to look for a replacement now however but I think the acc is on the upswingprograms that have upgraded: nc state being the most obvious, BC and clemson likely, gtech has some chance because hewitt was just so awful, wake maybe not but he still has time

UVA upgraded recently too with Bennett big time over Leitao.Who they going to get? None of his former assistants did well once they left.
