i know there are a few sites online that stream them illegally but those are typically terrible quality and even worse when blown up to tv size. are there any devices out there that will allow me to purchase ppv without having cable?

Depends on what you mean by PPV. You can rent movies on an XBox or PS3.

lookin to purchase the occasional ufc fight . i know they have similar devices for commercial use in hotels and such but i doubt they would work . hopin not to spend 50$/month on cable
