I'm excited for it, and I think the version shown in new York, the fr-s, is the best looking version yet, but I don't trust that it'll look anywhere near this great in production, since the previous two versions, the ft-86 II shown in geneva and the White 'sports'/trd version of the original red concept looked like production models with some dealer-installed or aftermarket accessories. The most recent fr-s reminds me of the five axis version of the latest tc, which the production car barely resembles at the dealership. My favourite parts of the fr-s are thongs we've already seen on the previous versions, particularly the ft-86 II, in more boring, less dramatic form. I'd love it if it ends uP looking like the fr-s, but I'm fully expecting a scion with about 200-215 hp without a turbo option (but maybe with a tc-like blower as 'aftermarket equipment from trd direct from your scion or Toyota-scion gallery') , looking just like the ft-86, just without the why-bother diffuser, sills, wheels, spoiler, or led running lamps and chin spoiler. Which I'm ok with, since that means it'll look kinda like the original c

Considering how bland everything from Toyota has been for the past 1.5 decades, I expect it to get 400mpg, cure cancer and look a bit more like this in final production:

I agree with arghx. Dear toyota stop acting like you are going to make something fun again and actually make something fun. I'm sorry but I'm tired of pre release hype with no delivery. This and the be efr turbos Just need to be availible.

The FR-S looks more feminine and sexy. The Toyota version (FT-86 II) looks more masculine and aggressive. But, when will they be built, how will they look when they are built, and what will be driving them?Till then, listen to the engine start up and revving sounds:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oDT3dNDo2c

^^ FR-S = FT-86?

^yes. And while I'm not sure what your interest level is, anyone that's followed this car during it's development would know that without thinking twice.
