yes, i searched and no, the results didn't answer my question: graded or credit-only?i've only attempted to play tennis a handful of times, and the results were generally terrible. how stringent is youtt's grading?

credit-only. I have him for 250 right now, and from what I've heard, his 249 class isn't much different. I took 249 for a grade with Dang and got an A+. But that's also because I'm pretty darn good at tennis It was still kind of annoying having that pressure on you for the exams.Ground stroke test is either A)23 balls through a ball machine...half a point if your return lands in front of the service line, one point if it lands between the service line and the baseline OR B)Hitting against the wall inside for x amount of timesServe test scale is based on how far back from the service line the bounce of your serve lands.Written exam is actually a bunch of ambiguous short answer, making it harder than it needs to be.Class tournament is based on a round-robin points system. Only the top three finishers in each gender get a 90 or above.Possibly a volley test in 249, depending on how he's feeling that semester. He'll let you make-up one of the skills tests on the last day of class. All that being said, take it for credit-only. Youtt is a great guy, and you'll have a lot of fun in his class. If you have to worry about it as a grade, it won't be as much fun. That one credit hour is not gonna do jack for you GPA in the long run, and you'll look like a tard if you take it for a grade and get anything less than an A.If this is tl;dr then take it for credit-only

I think I should've mentioned that this is distance ed. What he has listed on the website is 1 written exam (I'm sure that will be the same as what you described) and 2 skills tests. Are these the only grades that he takes for an on-campus section? I guess what I am really wondering is if anyone knows if he handles grading the same for both the on-campus and distance ed sections since there is naturally less physical practice time for the distance ed section.I think I'm leaning toward credit only because my serves are still prone to going over the fence.

I'm not sure, but regardless, why would you take it for a grade?
