I have a Yamaha V663 receiver, and have had it for about 2 years with no real issues. Today we had a power flicker (bright and sunny outside, but whatever) and now I'm having a problem with what I can only describe as pixelating on the screen.Basically while watching TV now there are random flickering pixels all around the screen, and usually outlining any person on TV. The pixels are flashing green.I've tried booting up my xbox, and the home screen is an absolute mess with half of the screen having long blackish lines across the dark green portion.Do I have any options? I've tried turning the unit off and on a few times, switching digital inputs to maybe get it to fix itself to no avail. I've seen this happen before when I initially power up the unit, but it always flashes once or twice and fixes itself.I'm not an electronics guru, so if it's some type of blown capacitor or something in the unit I really wouldn't have any idea how to fix it. I also don't want to pay $400 to buy another receiver because of a stupid power glitch. Can't really find anything online about the issue.

Or in thinking about it, I suppose it could be the TV...don't know why it took me this long to think about that

why would a receiver cause pixelating on a tv screen?

It's an AV receiver.

Yeah better try plugging directly into the TV.
