My pc froze a while back (no bsod) and now is stuck in an infinite reboot loop. Comes on for ~5 seconds, reboots, my monitor doesn't have time to start, so no access to bios. I've never oc'd anything in this pc. I assumed my 3yo psu was bad, so I bought a new one along with heatsink/fan. Still having the same issues now, with just ram (3x2gb corsair), cpu (i7 920), mobo (evga x58 sli) and psu (corsair 700w) hooked up. I've read around on interwebs and found my issue on evga forums (f3-f6-68 loop), tried the solutions there. Reseating cpu, loosening heatsink, one stick of ram in each slot, two sticks in two slots, checking for bent pins, cleaning out dust. The mobo has no visible physical issues. The only thing I haven't been able to do is check on a different motherboard, because I don't have another. So does anyone know somewhere that will test a cpu or ram for cheap? Anyone able to provide a mobo for testing for cheap/beer? If ram/cpu work elsewhere then i'll just buy a new mobo. Any tips/suggestions?

i'd definitely try to find someone to either test your ram, or let you test their ram in your board... i had the same problem a while back, and it was a faulty stick (luckily i had 2 pairs, so i just pulled a pair out and it booted)

^i don't know anyone personally that has an extra lga 1366 mobo, or anyone that would take apart their primary for testing. calling around pc repair shops, damn near no one has a 1366 mobo, those that do charge $texas per hour. just noticed it says "rebbot" instead of reboot. typing with my ps3..
