I've mentioned this once or twice in other related threads but never received a response.Basically, working with RDP full screen I sometimes misclick and hit restore down instead of minimize and it seems the only way to get back to full screen is to manually set the display slider back to "Full Screen" in mstsc.exe or edit Default.rdpI have a saved .rdp with the screen mode id:i:2 but it's still incredibly annoying to have to restart the session when I accidentally restore down. Is there something simple I'm missing or is this "Working as Intended"?

if the original session was fullscreen it always goes back to fullscreen when i click maximize. The only time I've seen what you describe is if the resolution changes on either side after starting the session.if it does it for you all the time maybe its a video driver issue? Also maybe check the desktop height/width values in your default.rdp?idk. works for me

You can force edit default.rdp but if you open the session, hit restore and then maximize again you get a windowed 1366x768 session. Then when you close it, screen mode id:i:1 is automatically saved over your last settings.CTRL + ALT + Break seems to do what I want (never quite googled the right word choices) . IMO Maximize button should toggle full screen, not maximize a windowed session. Or at least offer a switch (checkbox, registry tweak) between said functionality.Shaggy perhaps you're right too though it could be a video card driver, Win7, RDP6, Teamviewer's Presentation mode, or a combination of all.[Edited on March 23, 2011 at 10:50 AM. Reason : ]Ah this is why I love TT. Sometimes you just need a sounding board to bounce ideas off of. It looks like the culprit is my previously unconventional 1366x768 resolution. ms hotfix plzNoen, feel free to send an internal memo to the group in charge of this particular area.
