thread title says it all. I've been using Acronis, but I'm fucking tired of it refusing to properly backup to USB drives. I never had a problem with "corrupted images" with Ghost, but every single one of my Acronis images is "corrupted." I always validate after a backup, and it always passed, so why it decides now to be "corrupted" is beyond me, but that just seems to be how Acronis is.

Must Have:
fucking work
bootable rescue and backup environment.
fucking work
backup to USB
did I mention "fucking work?"

Nice to Have:
Graphical Interface
Backup to network file
Ability to mount image files in OS

Give Paragon backup and recovery a shot - there is a free trial that lets you burn a bootable recovery cd with most of the functionality of the paid version.

A bad block on the source drive will cause it to shit a brick, but other than that, it has worked swell for me so far. Never had a successful backup fail to restore yet.
