i'm sure im just SOL but maybe someone out there can help..

for christmas, my wife and I got two megamillions multi-draw lottery tickets. the draws ran from like christmas eve to march 22nd. we've won like $9-$12 here and there but I went in to redeem our most recent prize ($12, but still) and the worker said the ticket had already been "validated" at another terminal. didn't understand so i didn't think much of it and next time i was by the gas station that i had last redeemed a prize at, i tried again and it said the same thing. this worker was much more friendly and spoke english.. but he wasn't really able to help. he said he would talk to his supervisor or something and next time i am around there, stop in and see what the deal is. not that anything will happen with that though..

has this happened to anyone? i know i'm not gonna hit anything big between now and march 22nd but the fact that i still have draws left on the card and i am unable to redeem any of those prizes really sucks.

1. Pretty sure there's a contact number/address/e-mail on the back of whatever ticket you got that you should get in touch with.

2. Usually you're able to mail in a ticket somewhere and they cut you a check for the amount you've won.

we have a lottery machine at my store. if it says that... then it isnt lying, your ticket has already been redeemed. BUT what should of happened (assuming i am not missing a detail or two from your post) is when you redeemed it for a prize somewhere the first time, you should of gotten a new ticket along with your prize with the remaining dates left on them.


MY GUESS ( i will go ahead an apologize if i am crazy wrong and i havent had this happen in a long while) is that someone may have gotten your updated ticket and not given it to you. That may be why your ticket isnt working. just a guess. some store clerks are shady.

I have heard stories of people keeping losing tickets behind the counter and swiping those instead of the yours as you watch the little display, then scan yours later... people are sneaky...
