This game is the triple whammy of lame.

A: It's Maryland, who never ceases to amaze with their ability to break Wolfpack fans' hearts.

B: It's on ESPN2 so the announcers: are going to be the D team who weren't good enough to cover the Big East tournament, will be apathetic to NC State at best and realistically will probably dislike NC State (meaning we get 2 hours of why NC State shouldn't have fired a guy they never actually fired), and will probably spend 33% of their time (or more) talking about things completely unrelated to the game or the ACC Tournament.

C: Also, since it's on ESPN2 our almost-inevitable heartbreak/humiliation will be nationally televised! Yay!

I think having mike patrick called our game would be an appropriate way to end the season. I, for one, will mute the tv and listen to the radio stream if that happens.

I dont wish ill will on people so I will just hope that patrick decides to retire after this season for personal reasons
