i didnt realize you could add other tracking lists. thats cool. It has a built in one that can automatically block urls based on how often their accessed across domains (ex: google analytics)

The "built-in" one is like how InPrivate Filtering without any imported lists works; the problem is that if you set it to Automatic, you'll end up building a huge list of false positives, like blocking jQuery

i have it blocking google's jquery to no ill effect

also it doesnt block common local resources, it blocks cross domain resources. So if you're refrencing a local copy of jquery on your own webserver its fine. Its only a problem if you reference stuff on a 3rd party domain (ex: google's jquery)
