saw this at IMAX last night. pretty bad dialogue and acting (the guy who caught on fire might be the worst actor of all time) but visually it was pretty fucking cool. shows how impressive 3D can be when it's actually done right and not in post-production.

I'd really like to see this, but is it worth $15 a ticket?

well, I got the IMAX PowerPass as a Christmas present so it was worth the $5 I spent to see it

i dunno if it is worth $15 a ticket. its def NOT worth seeing if you don't do it in 3D though. so i guess i'd say...maybe? i mean is anything worth $15 a ticket? not really. anyways i think it ends up being more like $11 but still, pricey. i'd say only see it if you do imax. otherwise, meh. its about caves and so the 3D and the visuals are what really make it. the acting is a C at best. but the story is pretty intense/gripping (based on true events) so that helps make up for it. and then the 3D REALLY helps.
