Anybody else ever done this? Just did the one in Florida today. It was WAY more challenging than i thought it would be but pretty fun and I'm glad I did it. If I do one again, I need to be in much better shape.

Me and the wife were really excited about doing this and bought our tickets a couple months ago. We just found out last week that she is pregnant so we will no longer be doing the this though. Unfortunately they do not offer refunds but you can transfer your registration to another person. If anyone plans on doing this but hasn't gotten their tickets yet please let me know. We have to tickets we are trying to sell. They are for the 12:00 heat i believe. Will confirm later

it was a lot of fun. obstacle muscles are fine, running muscles are feelings are hurt. 2nd mile in the woods uphill killed me.

doing one in a couple weeks. waited too late to register so we're starting at 4:30, after some 6000 people have already gone. does the course really get beat up later in the day? plus I'm kinda worried about random vomit on obstacles

does the term "warrior" make you feel good about yourself for not being in the rangers or marine recon? it's highly insulting to call yourself a warrior when there is ZERO chance of an enemy killing you during the run.

just saying. couldn't they call it the "really hard run through the mud, but there is no chance you'll be shot or step on a land mine for greenhorns run?"

What the fuck, dude? There were military and nonmilitary people there, kids, fat people, cancer survivors, old men and women, middle aged folks, and many more. People want to challenge themselves and then drink a beer and eat a turkey leg while wearing a fake viking hat. To hell with what you think about the activities others do to make themselves feel good.

If you're going to harp on the "warrior" part of the name, also harp on the "dash" part too. I consider a dash like a 100 yard sprint. The whole course was like 3 miles, obviously not a dash.

1) not all people in the military are warriors
2) while it sucks to have cancer, if you did not engage the enemy in combat, you are not a warrior. so, if it was some vietnam vet who beat cancer from agent orange AND fought either the VC and/or NVA, yes, he was a warrior. if somebody did too much kodiak and is a sales manager, no, not a warrior
3) viking helmets did not have horns and were made out of metal
