My Maharashtrian teammate doesn't listen to music at work, but she wondered why I and our project lead listen to music all day. I explained that personally, it makes me more productive, because I don't get distracted by conversations nearby. I also mentioned that the dopamine release makes repetitive work more tolerable but that only certain kinds of music seem to help me with that.

She asked for some recommendations. I put together a playlist. This song is on it.
