and yall are out of 5 players, including Terrelle Pryor for the first 5 games... might make him look at heading to the draft
12/23/2010 12:10:15 PM
I'm fucking livid. How these players can be so stupid to think that they can sell championship rings, jerseys, and fucking gold pants w/o getting caught blows my mind. I really hope all these guys don't play at all next year. Fuck them for being selfish...not just selfish, but going about it in such a dumbfuck way. I'm an Ohio State fan til I die, but it's gonna be hard to root for these 5 guys in the Sugar Bowl. Luckily, there's 39 other starters with at least a modicum of integrity.
12/23/2010 12:23:23 PM
Hahahhahahah, they wanted that AJ Green
12/23/2010 12:26:35 PM

12/23/2010 12:35:54 PM
lol
12/23/2010 12:36:32 PM
why are they still eligible for the bowl game?
12/23/2010 12:37:15 PM
because the bowl game isn't against a creampuff opponent
12/23/2010 12:41:36 PM
that is what I was wondering... I didn't realize herron and posey were involved too. What would really suck is if the NFL went on strike and there was no draft.
12/23/2010 12:43:32 PM
There will be a draft. It is the last thing that the NFL would do before the lockout.
12/23/2010 1:07:08 PM
12/23/2010 1:09:37 PM
LMAO... i love it.
12/23/2010 1:11:35 PM
The only thing I know about this issue is this thread. But, did they violate an OSU, Big Whatever, or NCAA rule? I think it's kind of shitty that someone can't sell what is rightfully theirs.
12/23/2010 1:16:14 PM
^go back to Chit Chat.....
12/23/2010 1:23:23 PM
if only their dads had shopped them to the highest bidders they'd all be in the clear.the NCAA is fucking backwards in their disciplinary measures.
12/23/2010 1:25:42 PM
12/23/2010 2:53:40 PM
Would Pryor even be eligible for the draft? I thought he had to play one more year(isn't he a true soph?)I always forget if it is 2 or 3 years out of college. Probably can look up both but feeling lazy and at work.I found it pretty funny one of the things he sold was his sportsmanship award. That really was sentimental to him.
12/23/2010 3:38:33 PM
he's a junior
12/23/2010 4:14:00 PM
It's 3 years removed from HS. I don't see how they are eligible for the bowl game. It's BS.
12/23/2010 4:14:40 PM
12/23/2010 4:48:22 PM
Because a booster could be like "hey TP, how much would it cost to keep you here another year?... $500,000? Ok, here is $500,000 for that sock you wore in the Northwestern game"
12/23/2010 5:01:12 PM
12/23/2010 6:43:50 PM
I didn't know that we couldn't sell stuff. I just came here to play ball
12/23/2010 8:38:48 PM
12/23/2010 8:40:41 PM
It is still completely dumb considering that these guys were being handed prolly thousands in cash, and they never ever once thought that it may be a dumb idea?Come on, even when I got to the mall and drop some student loan money at Zara, I wonder if it is a bad idea.
12/23/2010 8:45:19 PM
They're morons, I agreeI'm just saying they'd be even dumber if they had done it recently, when they knew the NCAA was cracking down on other players and programs for doing basically the same things
12/23/2010 8:46:35 PM
12/23/2010 8:47:40 PM
"this circumstance" meaning "the team I pull for"
12/23/2010 8:52:01 PM
yep. the NCAA absolutely lost all fucking credibility they might have had left by not suspending these guys for the bowl game. "Hey, you guys cheated, but we're gonna suspend you for 5 games that probably won't matter because you'll win anyway. Oh, and we'll start it after the next game where you'll be needed." Absolute bullshit.
12/23/2010 9:42:27 PM
I agree, if they're suspended, it should start immediately. But if they're good for the bowl game, then they should be good for next season. stupid fucking rule. As an Ohio State fan, while I'm puzzled with/upset at the NCAA for their waffling on rulings based on convenience. What I'm most upset about is the fucking dumbass players selling trophies/awards that they earned and apparently have no respect for. Watching so many championship caliber teams under Cooper shit the bed against Michigan and those players never earning the gold pants that are held in high regard by anyone affiliated with OSU football, I could only imagine how those guys feel when they read about Pryor and Thomas selling them for only $350. Such a slap in the face of tradition. I don't want these motherfuckers playing in the Sugar Bowl. If we lose, we lose, but it's gonna be damn hard to get excited/be proud of OSU when any one of these bitches makes a good play.
12/24/2010 10:27:27 AM
wtf are "gold pants"
12/24/2010 4:26:16 PM
12/24/2010 4:42:29 PM
^^gold pants are awarded to players for a win over Michigan
12/24/2010 4:49:31 PM
I look forward to watching Terrelle Pryor play next yearas an NFL tight end]
12/24/2010 5:14:55 PM
