I am pretty partial to the burritos at Armadillo grill because their queso is the best around. I dunno about calling them the best in the triangle though

I don't get why people like Qdoba so much, it's only slightly less mediocre than Moe's. Chipotle on the other hand is like 10x better than Moe's.

Yeah, Qdoba is #1 and Moe's is definitely last.

[Edited on November 19, 2010 at 4:34 PM. Reason : ^ Qdoba is Chipotle + queso sauce]

Qdoba is awesome.

They also send you coupons every time it rains, which is awesome.

yeah I guess having queso is an advantage over Chipotle, though I do think the rice/beans/meat at Chipotle are better quality.

I would like Qdoba more if their rice wasn't cilantro-tainted.

1. Chipotle
2. Qdoba
3. Baja
4. Moes

I don't go anyplace other than Chipotle voluntarily. And the only time I'll ever go to Moes is because the people I'm with are going and I'm outnumbered.

Although I do like the chips/salsa being included in the deal there. But the comment above about the rice/beans/meat being a higher quality at Chipotle is on the money.

Chipotle FTW.

Fuck the moe's haters.

Chipotle is way overpriced. And Qdoba just flat out blows.

With that said...this area doesn't really have any good burrito places.

I think my personal preference is
Chubby's
Cosmic
--big gap--
Moe's
Baja
Qdoba

I have never been to Chipotle, and I probably order different burritos from most people so my criteria are a little different. But I fucking love burritos.

[Edited on November 19, 2010 at 4:56 PM. Reason : forgot Baja]

1 - Chipotle
2 - Baja
3 - Qdoba
4 - Moe's

Cosmic is good and Chubby's is excellent but I've never had a burrito from either place. So, sadly, I cannot include them in the rankings.

This.
I havent paid full price for Qdoba in months...either there is a rainy day coupon, a for the hell of it coupon, or I can use one of the many coupons or Qdoba bucks you find in the newspaper. That being said, Qdoba only wins over Chipotle for the number of coupons, of which Chipotle rarely has any, although they will make a burrito the size of your head if you show up 15 minutes before close.

I'm pretty sure the people suggesting Moe's have the best burritos have never actually eaten a burrito at anywhere other than Moe's and Taco Bell.

FYI mcdonalds doesn't own their majority interest in chipotle anymore, not since 2006 (if thats what you're referring to.

I don't think its quite fair to lump in national chains with local joints, its kind of like apples/oranges.

That being said, chipotle is the best of the national chains, primarily because of their better ingredients and corn salsa.

You obviously don't know what the fuck real salsa is.

[Edited on November 21, 2010 at 2:08 AM. Reason : not that I'm arguing that Chipotle has real salsa, but the places this dude listed sure as shit dont]

And your point is? I'm not interested in getting in a salsa argument but when you say one place doesn't have "real salsa" you are starting an authenticity debate, and that is a debate that Moe's is never going to win.

I'm not starting shit

salsa and sauce both come from the Latin root "sal" meaning "to salt"

It's cool that you took spanish 101, but you're obviously ignoring the connotations that some spanish culinary terms entail. Also it was pretty clear I was saying the other dude was starting an authenticity debate
