Hey guys.Does anyone here have any experience with getting a jersey autographed? I know it is possible at some of the fan appreciation events occasionally, but outside of that have any of you had success getting a jersey autographed?I had a jersey a few years back with quite a few players autographs from the Hurricanes. Unfortunately the jersey was stolen from my car a few months later along with a bunch of other things (Yes, I know I am stupid for leaving it in the car). I had it at a game, changed at a friends house afterward and had everything packed in a bag in my trunk. Car was broken into and everything stolen that night.Anyhow, at the end of last year I purchased another authentic Hurricanes jersey and would love to work on getting some autographs again -- odds are I won't be able to make it to any of the standard events this year where I'd normally try to get it signed. Does anyone know if its possible to acquire autographs via any other method (mailing the team, etc). I don't really care if it is going to cost some $$ to get done or whatever, but I'd love to start working on getting this one signed . If you have any ideas, suggestions, or perhaps know someone who might can make it happen, please let me know. If it ends up not costing me $$Texas I'll consider naming my first born after you. Thanks

Head out to the practices...typically you can catch players willing to give you autographs there, but it's not always a guarantee. There's a place on the Canes' website that describes how to go about doing it (including listing the times of each practice).

you can usually always get a handful after any home game behind the north entrance at the RBC center. As long as they dont have a plane to catch, they usually sign stuff. Been awhile since I have been back there though

it's much easier to get autographs after practice at the reczone than it is after practice at the rbc

^^ like he said.I went back there for the first time in awhile after the last home game. They're more likely to stop after a win. Several guys stopped, and I was able to get Skinner to sign my jersey.

Yeah, most of the guys are really friendly about it. Usually there is a crowd of around 20-30 people back there (North Lot) per game, though.I work there, and I usually get done clearing out the suites, and am bringing stuff down to the kitchen right around when the players are leaving. I've had Cam Ward and Rod Brind'Amour hold the door for me when my hands were full before. I'd say your best chance is still probably at a practice, as others have suggested.

snag a season ticket holder party ticket off craigslist when the date is closer.
