So this friend of my wife's has a 2006 Saturn Ion with the CEL on. She took it to a local shop to scan the code and they said she (this is in her words as I haven't seen the print out) has some sort of EVAP leak as well as a faulty throttle position sensor. Is there a good shop around the NC State area that will give her a fair estimate on the work? The place she had it scanned said that they can't do the work. I'd look into this more myself but I'm leaving this week and won't be back to Raleigh until Halloween. Thanks!!

I don't have an OBDII scanner...yet. But as long as I can cruise up the street and capture codes using Advance's, then I'm good. It's a hop, skip, and a jump away from Jeepman's garage. And I'm damn handy with a multimeter, as numerous folks here will tell you. Good troubleshooting evolves from having a good working knowledge of how things work. And I have a good working knowledge. Lemme know, Jared...I'm glad to take a look, do a little snooping.
