Used to be it'd just try the 2nd side and then eject, and if I pressed the button to get it back to side 1 before a certain point, it'd keep playing for a good long while before trying this again. Now it's constant, and I just about can't listen to satellite radio any more So...please help?

use an FM radio tuner deal, instead of cassette adapter to listen to whatever device you are using.also, welcome to the 2000s........

putting it in backwards has worked for me for a "mecha error." insert the adapter with the wire side first. the wire should be slim enough to not affect any of the cassette player mechanisms.
