Sometimes tww can surprise you with the talent present in some of it's members, so I wanted to put a feeler out there to gauge interest for some some photo editing work. You'd be contracted to work with hi-res images of homes, town-homes, and condominiums: exteriors, interiors, pools, hot tubs and views of the area surrounding the property (i.e, the ocean, sound, street, etc). Lightening, color enhancement, removal of objects like trash cans or a sprouted weed in the landscaping are all common things to be expected with each photo. We have an estimated 18,000 pictures that will need this work done. What I need is your estimate of how long this kind of project would take you to complete and your proposed price (by pm please). Its a rough description of the job, so a rough estimate would do fine. Feel free to ask questions- I'll answer what I can, and thanks for your time.

ugh. i once had to clean up about 500 product images for a website. it took me a full week, and hurt my back from bad posture in the processhope you find someone good though - this thread only reminded me of a terrible memory i'd previously managed to forget ]

Yeah the time-spent factor will definitely be worst part I'd imagine. I'm only an enthusiastic amateur with photoshop...I have neither the ability nor the time to get it done or I'd have volunteered for the project.

email me from the PM - all those numbers were what I consider 'high side'. I'd expect things to go much better as long as your shots aren't from a point and shoot and you're trying to get them to magazine quality. If you're publishing to newspaper or web you can probably halve those.
