Where's your favorite place to rental sound equipment? I need something for Saturday...just a couple of speakers, a mixer/PA head, and mic and stand for our company pig pickin'...

They would have been my backup had I not finally gotten in touch with my old standby, Custom Light & Sound in Durham...I was starting to panic when I couldn't get up with them, bein' that it's kind of short notice and all...

if you want to make a sound rental, then research the company and ask for the maintenance history on the equipment you plan to rent.

deejay's...it's been years since i rented from them, but they always had the best rates and were incredibly helpful (they owner gave me his personal cell and told me to call if i had trouble setting up the equipment when it was my first time)
