I've heard the supercharged V8 has its share of problems, but I haven't heard specifics. Rather grumbling about the car in general.

For a car like that you gotta pay to play.

the fact that most dealerships will not sale you an extended warraty on AMG vehicles says alot. Mercedes doesnt even stand by their own product

Sell is a verb, sale is a noun. Learn your own native tongue.

^I think that's only an issue if you like to do burnouts, since that model suffers from horrendous axle hop.

i've read that the rear diff is not a good match for the torque produced by the LS2. its weak and some have had to replace it two or three times in a short amount of time.

300C SRT-8? S6? M5? The potential super sedan shopper has many choices.

4-door and fast and a little classy, I'd probably be looking most intently at a CTS-V or an S6. But that's just me.

Saw a C63 AMG today for the 1st time in a few months and I had forgotten how vicious AND beautiful that car looks... way better than the M3, RS4, and IS-F.

And 0-60 mph in 3.9 sec doesn't hurt, plus handling that's just a little behind the M3!

automatic transmission only

instant disqualification...it might as well be FWD.

^I'd overlook that fact for the C63. The transmission is very sport oriented and knows what you want to do. It responds faster than a typical automatic and even blips the throttle on downshifts.

Plus the exhaust sounded like pure nirvana when I was pacing one around Roebling Road Raceway last year

OEPII1, C63 AMGs aren't often spotted. They are much rarer than M3s (another draw to them in my opinion)

You can get an SHO deep in the 12s with little mods. But fuck it. Its your money. You thought about a genisus

True, and in general AMGs are far rarer than their M counterparts.

Saw a burnt orange C63 AMG in the parking at work today... my God, that color is so perfect for the brutal sexy look of that car....

Also today a G55 AMG in an amazing shade of brown. I don't know what that shade is called, but it is kind of like holding a glass of Pepsi/Coke in front of the sun. Fucking gorgeous!

Rarer because they aren't nearly as good.
