Is this format interesting to anyone who doesnt already enjoy skateboarding? I'm a fan. If you couldnt care less is it any better than WSOP? ON ESPN2 now for another 10 min.

this is Rob Dyrdek's thing right? I read an interview he did a couple weeks ago talking about the Street League. It sounds pretty cool, they supposedly are gonna keep stats for each skater in hopes that they will be used like other sports (ERA, batting avg, etc. in baseball) so fans can keep up with their favorite skaters and have stats to back them up. Dyrdek made it sound like if Paul Rodriguez has a 6.5 average for the week (I'm making up the units) you can tell that he is having an off week, just like you would think Albert Pujols was having an off week if he had a .225 batting averageit sounds pretty cool, and possibly could revolutionize the way we watch skateboarding - which has gotten pretty boring since the Tony Hawk "900" pinnacle

The consistency is amazing. I have also skated for 10 years so its amazing to watch this 16 year old (Ortiz) take home 150k in a 45 min skate session.[Edited on September 22, 2010 at 9:23 PM. Reason : haha I jinxed him, I was banking on the consistency.]
