Member Services AssistantSUMMARYThis full-time position will provide member service, event planning and administrative support to the North Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association. The position will report to the Director of Operations and the job duties include database entry, billing, event assistance, general clerical work, receptionist and project based work.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES• Meet and greet office visitors• Enter and edit information into internal database system• Create new member files and maintain up-to-date current member files• Post payments of new and renewing memberships in internal database• Assemble new member kits and mail out• Create invoices and mail membership billing monthly• Create membership reports for staff as needed• Create membership lists for association partners on a monthly basis• Process membership list orders from members• Process labor law poster orders• Process 'no smoking' decal orders• Assist with all NCRLA and TAHMA meetings and events• Receive, deliver, record and distribute mail on a daily basis• Sign for and distribute UPS/Fed Ex/Airborne packages• Order office supplies for staff on as as-needed basis• Support staff in assigned project based work• Perform clerical duties including, but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, & filing• Other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS The right candidate must project a positive and professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol are vital to this position. Duties require excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a superior understanding of customer service.
