when i went to trinidad the monstary place we stayed in had an infestation of things that looked like that.

Literally we left one day and came home a few hours later and there were like thousands of these things

Trapped one of these in my house yesterday too. I was going to let him live til I read the Wikipedia article about them sometimes biting and stinging - and unfortunately while I sat around debating what to do with him he died under the cup.

It is not splitting hairs, it is science (from middle school).

Call it a bug--which is *the* colloquialism that everybody uses--and it will encompass all arthropods.
