My wife drives the tahoe and wants to downsize a little. Tahoe is 2007 ltz pretty much loaded. We owe less than kbb has it listed for. 40k miles. I'm doing this from my phone so help me out. Any way for us to come out ahead in the situation?

well my wife just got a neighborhood in holly springs and we live in DTR. i went to MB of Cary to see what they had so we could be a little more practical and left with a new c300. sales guy talked me in to it.

jokers gave me $31k for my 2007 Tahoe and we paid $35k for the car.

also, it needed 2 new tires ($600) and front pads and rotors ($???)

^it was really hard to pass up especially since I am the type of guy that would want to get the issues fixed before privately selling it.

^^ is it bad that I don't know the answer to that question??? the only thing it doesn't have that we wanted was nav but my wife wanted white or black with tan leather. they only had white with tan.

^it is kinda bad, lol. They look quite different. The Luxury has the traditional grille with a 3 point star hood ornament. The Sport has the "sport" grill with the 3 point star in the grille.

I'd have to say that 9 out of 10 C-class sedans I see are the Sport ones.

a tahoe makes for a terrible car. If you aren't towing big trailers and stuff, an E-class makes WAY more sense.

...but I wouldn't trade your car in. Sell it private party, then buy the Benz (or vice-versa).
