she probably should get someone to take over her lease fully, and not sublease it to someone she doesnt know. i've done this before, and if whoever lives there decides not to pay rent, or damages the place costing extra $, you're girlfriend is equally responsible, even if she isn't living there anymore, her name is still on the lease. So yeah, I'd suggest she get someone to take over the lease, and get her name off there so she doesn't have to worry about the kind of tenant that's going to be living there.

Thanks jersey86! I think her place does not give her an option to "take over the lease". It would be a lot cooler if they did....Anyone interested???
