Apply some sort of leather protectant such as 303, Lexol or something.

dont sit on it and leave the factory plastic on it.

or you could just use meguires gold class on it

also watch how you get in and out of the vehicle. dont jump around like house of pain

Every year or so, I brush my leather with a solution that amounts to oily aninal fat. I cover the leather with saran wrap to keep it from evaporating, which allows it to seep into the leather. I forget the product name (I'll hunt it down for you if you need it). My car is 13 years old, and the leather still looks great and is not hard.

^^ its called leatherique. Its posted up above. This is what allot of the higher end customers request on their $100+ cars. I have never had to do it, I just use normal leather protectant.

I use Lexol or something similar once a month. That's all it really takes. You don't need some expensive or time consuming product, you just need to remember to apply it regularly. Another thing that helps is to have tinted windows and windshield sun shade to reduce the UV exposure. I have a 13 year old Infiniti and the seats look like they are 3 or 4 years old. The driver seat has some creases (no noticeable cracks) in it but the rest of the seats look almost new.
