2004 Chevy ColoradoZ71 4x4Silver birch with dark grey fendersLooks like:but I have a toolbox in my bed.I'm thinking I'd like to get some flat black wheels and more aggressive tires (all terrains?). Current tires are 265/75-15 and wheels are 15" (I'll confirm this later and get pictures of my truck).Any suggestions on wheels & tires? What about going a little bigger with a 2" body lift? Brands, styles, shops, merchants? I really don't have a clue in shopping for these things...[Edited on July 23, 2010 at 1:26 PM. Reason : .]

stay away from body liftssuspension is more expensive, but you will get a much better package if you do a little researchgo to a forum and see what works for your truck

I'll look into though.ok yeh, suspension lifts are going to be way outside my budget.I've posted on a few other forums... but those forums are about dead or they just don't like helping n00bs.[Edited on July 23, 2010 at 2:49 PM. why would you want to add such an awful wheel/fender gap?

^that's not exact... I don't want that much space, but that's just what the simulator shows

just cranked the TBs and got about 2"... will probably settle down to 1.75".looking like I'll need a 16" or 17"x8", 0 offset. now to decide on tires... I don't think I could fit more than a 175but, I keep seeing guys posting wheels with different offsets, so I'm not sure what will fit... and no one is responding... on any forum...

Most people don't live on the Internet all day.Give it a few days dude. And this seems like a giant waste of money.

I am. besides, I'm not buying for a while anyways. And it's my money, I'll waste as I see fit.

Well you've got the front lifted, blocks and u-bolts are fairly cheap and common for the rear axles. What do you mean 175's? If you meant 275/xx without rubbing during turns on some models (no idea about chevy's in detail) you can just remove cut or dremel some of the plastic in the fender well or fender flares. Usually for a mild lift that's all you'll really need to do to get some 285's on there now that you've got the front end a few inches higher.

yeh, sorry should just said =< 32" tire. I know I can cut some fender, etc., I just didn't want to run into more extensive rubbing issues.
